This label reffers to the ex-name of Bigalı Village, which hosts Chateau Ergenekon. Red, white and rose, each interpretation is strong, lively and unique, like the nature and people of the village.
The Bull figure on the label is created by artist Hakan Dündar, symbolizing the fusion of strength and local heritage embodied under our Bogali label.
BOĞALI Rezerv marks the first step into Château Ergenekon’s premium segment. While preserving the sincerity of the classic BOĞALI, it takes a graceful stride toward the refined line of Bona Dea, thanks to its time in oak barrels.
The 2019 vintage brings together the richness of red forest fruits with the structure and subtle spice notes imparted by the barrel, achieving a well-balanced profile. It is neither a modest table wine defined by simplicity, nor an overambitious masterpiece; rather, it stands at the intersection of elegance and depth.
With this character, it has earned recognition not only locally but also on the international stage. BOĞALI Rezerv 2019 returned with a gold medal from the 2025 Balkans International Wine Competition held in Greece, ranking among the best wines of Türkiye.
The 2014 vintage has long become a household favorite and still graces the shelves, clearly not wanting to stand alone any longer. With its poised balance of red forest fruit and oak, the 2019 vintage is ready to follow in its footsteps.
Chateau Ergenekon's mono-varietal (single grape) series, which skips oak barrel aging, boasts exceptional quality and beautifully captures the essence of each grape variety.
Inspired by a timeless verse from the renowned Latin poet Horace, it embodies the essence of "carpe diem" — seize the day, live in the moment, and make the most of every opportunity.
The butterfly motif on the label, crafted by the talented painter Hüseyin Işık, symbolizes life's fleeting nature and the significance of embracing the present moment.
The label features İlker Gürbüz’s Zümrüd-ü Anka — the Phoenix — and rightly so. This wine, too, was reborn from its own ashes. INFERNO emerged at the very start of the 2024 harvest, following a forest fire that brushed so closely past the winery it felt like a warning rather than a disaster.
Everything was unfolding as it should. Grapes were being pressed, the rhythm of harvest steady and sure. Then, without a sign, the power went out. The cellar fell still, the machines froze, and silence filled the space. In that pause, we looked at one another and said, if destiny has spoken, perhaps it is inviting us to try something uncharted. Even Dante, we imagine, might have found this script too intense to invent.
For those unfamiliar with orange wine, it is made by treating white grapes as one would red. The result is a wine with an amber glow, aromas of citrus, and a subtle, smoky tension on the palate — as if the fire whispered its essence into the wine and left behind elegance instead of harm.
And what became of this chance-born wine? It spread its wings far beyond our cellar. INFERNO was awarded a gold medal at the 2025 Balkans International Wine Competition, joining the ranks of Türkiye’s most distinguished wines.
How this wine rose from the fire is a story best watched rather than told. Scroll down. The flame flickered, and a phoenix took flight.
Bona Dea; The goddess of healing in the Roman pantheon is literally the female Dionysus.Legends suggest that she conducted rituals exclusively attended by women, indulging in wine, and was punished by her father, Faunus, with a cranberry stick for her drunkenness.
BONA DEA, a special creation reserved for exceptional vintages, is a red vineyard blend. It undergoes thorough aging in both French and American oak barrels before being sealed with crystal glass and further matured in the bottle cellar for a minimum of 5 years.
The 2013 vintage was awarded with a Silver Medal at the prestigious International Wine Challenge in London, while the 2016 vintage triumphed with a Gold Medal at the esteemed Korean Wine Challenge in Seoul.
The BONA DEA figure on the label belongs to the painter Solmaz Aksoy.
Regius, deriving from the Latin word for "Kingly," embodies regal elegance and power. Crafted with a blend of two robust grapes, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, enhanced with a hint of Grenache, REGIUS represents nobility in every sip.
The label of REGIUS is a masterpiece in itself, designed by artist Serhat Kiraz. It intricately weaves together a tapestry of intertwined numbers, adding to the allure and mystique of this majestic wine.
The SINGULARIS series represents uniqueness and exclusivity, featuring wines crafted from a single grape variety grown in a specific parcel of our vineyard. Processed as monosepage, each wine is aged in a single barrel for a minimum of 16 months and sealed with the most enduring cork, representing the essence of Chateau Ergenekon.
Selected only from vintages blessed with optimal climatic conditions on the Gallipoli Peninsula, SINGULARIS wines undergo meticulous aging in oak barrels for 36 months before resting in our bottle cellar for an additional 24 months, ensuring their optimal maturity and complexity upon release.
The striking monolithic figure adorning the SINGULARIS label is the creation of Painter Seydi Murat Koç.
